🧂 Ingredients

500 g chicken, cut into medium pieces

1-inch ginger
-
6 garlic cloves
-
1 bunch fresh green coriander
-
4–5 green chilies
-
1 onion, chopped
-
1 tsp turmeric powder
-
1 tsp garam masala
-
Small piece of tamarind
-
1 tsp ginger-garlic paste

8–10 cashew nuts (optional)

Salt to taste
🍳 Method
1. Marinate the Chicken

Wash and clean the chicken pieces.

Apply salt and ginger-garlic paste.

Set aside for 10–15 minutes.
2. Prepare the Green Masala

In a grinder, blend coriander leaves, ginger, garlic, onion, green chilies, tamarind, and cashews (if using) into a smooth paste.
3. Cook the Masala

Heat a pan and add the green masala paste.

Cook on medium flame until it begins to thicken.

Add turmeric powder, garam masala, and salt. Mix well.
4. Add Chicken

Add the marinated chicken pieces.

Mix well so the chicken is coated with masala.

Cover and cook until chicken is tender and fully cooked.

Cook uncovered to reduce moisture if you prefer a dry version.
5. Serve
