🥬 Gawar Bhaji (Cluster Beans Sabzi) | Easy Goan Style Vegetable Recipe
Also called Chitki Bhaji in Konkani – nutritious, earthy, and delicious.
📝 About the Recipe
Gawar, also known as cluster beans or chitki bhaji in Konkani, is a highly nutritious vegetable rich in protein, calcium, phosphorus, and fiber. Though slightly bitter, its earthy flavor blends beautifully with coconut and mild spices, making it a delicious side dish.
This simple Goan-style preparation uses fresh grated coconut and green or red chilies to balance the bitterness and bring out its authentic coastal flavor.
