INGREDIENT
- 2 raw mackerel
- 2tsp chilly powder
- 1 tsp turmeric powder
- Salt to taste
- 1/2 cup Water
- 10 fenugreek seeds
- 1/2 mustard seeds
- 3 tsp of oil
- 1/8 asafoetida powder
- Lemon juice or tamarind water
Method
1.Cut and clean mackerel.cut mackerel head tail and fins and even scales if it is their.
2.Cut into small pieces and season with salt turmeric powder and chilly powder.
3.keep pan on gas add oil add mustard seeds , fenugreek seeds, asafoetida .
4. Add chilli powder when seeds splutter add mackerel pieces mix well add lemon juice or tamarind water in it simmer for few second.
5.cook till mackerel cooked well. Serve with rice or bread.
