🔥 Pro Cooking Tips for Boiled Egg Chilli

Perfectly Boiled Eggs
👉 Boil eggs for exactly 10–12 minutes, then place them in ice water. This prevents overcooking and gives a clean peel.

Sauté Garlic and Ginger Well
👉 Always sauté ginger and garlic until the raw smell is gone. This gives a deep, rich base flavor to the dish.

Smoky Masala Touch
👉 For an extra restaurant-style smoky flavor, you can briefly char the capsicum before adding it to the pan.

Crispy Egg Option
👉 Shallow-fry the boiled egg halves until golden before mixing with the masala for added texture and taste.

Use Kashmiri Red Chilli Powder
👉 Swap half the red chilli powder with Kashmiri chilli powder for vibrant red color without too much heat.

Balance the Sauces
👉 Adjust sauces to taste:
  • Tomato sauce adds sweetness
  • Chilli sauce adds heat
  • Soy sauce adds umami
  • Taste and balance before adding the eggs.

Consistency Tip
👉 If your gravy gets too thick, add 1–2 tbsp of water to loosen it slightly before adding the eggs.

Serving Idea
👉 Serve it with buttered pav, jeera rice, or even as a wrap filling in a paratha for a fusion twist.

Garnish Smartly
👉 Fresh coriander added right before serving lifts the flavor. You can also sprinkle a few spring onions for crunch and color.
