📝 Ingredients:
- Squids – cleaned and cut into rings
- Rava (semolina) – for coating
- 1 tsp turmeric powder
- 2 tsp chili powder
- 1 tsp ginger-garlic paste
- Salt – to taste
- Oil – for frying
🔪 Method:
Prepare the Squid:Wash and clean the squids. Cut them into ring pieces.
Marinate:
Marinate squid with salt, turmeric powder, ginger-garlic paste, and chili powder. Keep aside for 10–15 minutes.
Coat with Rava:
Roll the marinated squid pieces in rava (semolina) until well coated.
Fry:
Heat a pan without oil first (this prevents bursting, as squid releases water).Add the rava-coated squid to the pan. After 5 minutes, drizzle oil around and over the squid.
Fry until golden brown on one side, then flip and fry the other side.
Cook Gently:
Cover with a lid for a few minutes to allow faster cooking. Do not overcook, as squid can turn chewy.
Serve:
Enjoy hot as a starter or with steamed rice.
