Tavshacho ros


Tavish is famous in goa widely used during the summer season.

Ingredients
  1. 1 cucumber (tavshi)
  2. 1 onion
  3. curry leaves
  4. 1tsp mustard seeds
  5. 1 tsp turmeric powder
  6. 1 tsp coriander seeds
  7. 1tsp cumin seeds
  8. grated coconut 
  9. small ball tamarind
  10. jaggery.
Method
  1. Peel the skin of cucumber and make pieces. keep aside,
  2. On gas, keep pan add coriander seeds don't put oil. just fry a little bit.
  3. Add grated coconut, onion, green chilies, turmeric powder, coriander seeds which were fry without oil and tamarind in the mixture and make a paste.
  4. Put the pan on gas, heat it adds 1 tsp of oil add mustard seeds, cumin seeds, and curry leaves, let it sputter. 
  5. Add cucumber seeds with jaggery. boil for 3 to 5 min.
  6. add salt as per taste. Serve hot with rice.
  7. Add the paste in it,
